Post 5: Changes to my study programme

 Changes to the progamme

So changes, huh? I don't even need to think about it thoroughly, I read the theme of this post and immediately though "GET RID OF PHYSICOCHEMISTRY!!". Like, please, I'm done with that subject, it is by far the tallest wall new students need to climb in order to keep up with their careers.

Now talking more seriously, the university has improved it's infrastructure since I started studying here, however it has been a very slow process. For example, this year we just got a place with conditioned air where to study, and that is highly appreciated, on winter and now on summer.

Also this year we got more places where to buy lunch, so we have more options to buy food here in the university instead of having to get out to go somewhere else. 

Here we have something that bothers me, THE EXAMS. I know that they can't be easy since is the last chance for the students to approve the subject, but come on, I can't see the point of adding EXTRA CONTENTS to them, contents that you probably won't study if you exempt from taking the exam. If you have to take the exam, it means that you're having difficulties with the contents you already have, so adding even more feels like they're just trying to fail as many students as they can.

Whew, I think I really unleashed some frustration here, well, after all I've taken as many exams as subjects...

Post 4: Time travel to the future.

 Time travel to the future

So, time travelling... It's something quite difficult to imagine, specially because the posibilities of the planet being a nice place are infinite, and so the posibilities of it being a nuclear fallout, with people fighting with spears and rocks.

It is a difficult decision, first because I wouldn't like to leave my family, and second, that future would be a future where I dissappeared, so it would be different from the future I'm about to live. I think I've watched Back to the Future too many times, I have to decide.

Well, I'd like to see how the civilization has developed in 1000 years, so I would go to Spain on year 3000. With some luck I won't appear in the middle of a battlefield, nor in the middle of a nuclear bomb crater. I'd like to see if the ancient buildings are still standing after thousand of years. 

To be honest, the technology part kinda scares me, even in our times the technology invasion into everyone's daily life is scary, and if it keeps evolving there may not be safe place. Maybe in the future even the human brain will be nothing but a 

Post 3: My dream job

 My dream job...

I've thought about this a lot since high school, what to study, where to study, etc. I got interested in plants, the country, and living on the south of Chile, however after looking up the careers related to the kind of job I wanted (like agropecuary enginering) I discovered there wasn't a lot of employability, so I abandoned that idea.

Now thinking about it, maybe I fitted way more into that kind of work rather than the job i'll get after finishing my carreer, because there is way less "human contact" at the country. I'm currently studying chemistry and pharmacy, and the job requires to know how to be a leader and having certain social skills. At the country you don't need to talk to the plants, I mean, you can talk to them but it would be weird, you just need to take care of them the best you can.

Something you need to work at the country is being extremely responsible, you need to wake up early everyday in order to take care of the plants, because you count on them in order to survive. About the salary... I never really thought about it seriously, but I guess it wouldn't be very stable if it depends on the weather and the droughts. Back in the day I just imagined working near those beautiful lakes on the south, like Llanquihue or Villarica lakes.

Post 2: Concerts

 Sooo... concerts...

Well, concerts aren't my thing, just thinking about being in a hot and crowded place with thousands of people screaming, jumping and pushing around makes me feel uncomfortable. I have friends who have assisted to concerts before, and even if they mentioned it was fun, they also said the atmosphere was suffocating, and that the audience behave too crazy while being there. 

Other people also mentioned that the audience started singing too loud and they couldn't hear the singer. I know this is 100% normal, however I pay to listen to the artists, not the audience, so I'd prefer to just stay at home to avoid a headache or getting dehydrated.

Actually one of my best friends wears a lot of wristbands everyday, because he has assisted to Lolapalooza several times, and to many other famous bands concerts, like Linkin Park or Red Hot Chilli Peppers. 

Funny thing: I even know someone who was at Metallica's concert at Antarctica, but I've never been in a concert myself. Well, I'm just not good with people.

Post 1: A country i would like to visit

 Switzerland, a land between mountains.

 If there's a place on Earth where I'd really like to live that's Switzerland, a place known for its incredible landscapes, nice people and... cheese? I've always thought Switzerland is a unique place, a place that hasn't seen war in the last century, a place where the people are known for being very nice, and (more important on this difficult times) a place with a great economical stability.

I've never been a fan of the ocean, so not having beaches around wouldn't be a big issue for me. Also this is the land where the legendary tennis champion Roger Federer was born. Since highschool I've been watching him play, and it was very sad to know that he'll retire this September after Laver's Cup.

Oh, another thing I'd really like to see if I get to travel to Switzerland: the marmots! This rodents live between the Alps, and they hybernate during winter. They look like bigger and fatter prairie dogs, and  it'd be funny to feed them and pet them if I have the chance to.
